Project 01 — 316L Stainless Process Pipework Fabrication

Work undertaken: Measuring, cutting, fit-up, fabrication, TIG welding and purging
Environment: Specialist stainless steel fabrication workshop
Work undertaken by the Pure Fusion team as part of an ongoing contract supporting the fabrication of stainless steel process pipework for specialist food-processing machinery. The system forms part of a cleaning process for food cans, with pipework fabricated from 316L stainless steel in a range of 2–3 inch sizes. Work included measuring and cutting from drawings, accurate fit-up, fabrication, TIG welding and controlled purging throughout the welding process.
Project 02 — Stainless Steel Process Pipework Installation

Pipework: 1–10 inch process pipework
Work undertaken: Process pipework installation, equipment connections, TIG welding and modifications
Environment: Food-processing production facility
Work undertaken as part of a wider engineering team supporting the installation of a large stainless steel food-processing system. The project incorporated 316 stainless steel process pipework ranging from approximately 1–10 inches, together with heat exchangers and associated process equipment. Work included installation and assembly of prefabricated pipework, equipment connections, TIG welding and modifications to existing components where required.
Project 03 — Stainless Steel Pallet Tipper Installation

Work undertaken: Equipment installation, assembly, TIG welding and modifications
Environment: Food-processing production facility
Work undertaken as part of a wider engineering team supporting the installation of a stainless steel pallet-tipping system within a food-processing facility. The equipment was supplied as a package and assembled on site to form part of the production process, transferring frozen product into downstream processing equipment. Work included mechanical assembly, installation, TIG welding and modifications required to integrate the equipment with the surrounding system.
